The Cottage -
Glan y Gors
Glan y Gors is located on a quiet
lane in Dinorwig which is a scattered village on a mountain,
opposite Snowdon. The nearest village shop, post office
fish
and chip shop and pub is about one mile down the hill in the next village
of Deiniolen.
The cottage is semi detached and can sleep
8 - 10 (12 if the sofabed in lounge is used). The floor
plan below shows
the four bedrooms, two twin rooms and two spacious bedrooms
with a double and single bed in each.
A cot is available
on request.

Furnishings
The cottage is fully equipped. Should you find anything
missing or broken please let us know so that we can put
things right as quickly as possible. Initial supplies
of toilet rolls, cloths, bin liners, bath cleaners, washing
up liquid are supplied.
Heating and Lighting
Electricity and oil are included. There is wood burning
stove in the lounge, a supply of wood and guidance will
be provided. The log fire is supplementary to the central
heating.
Bed linen
Bed linen is provided - beds will be made up for your arrival.
Cot and highchair and safety gates are also provided
but please bring your own
cot bedding. For holidays of
more than one week fresh bed linen may be provided if
requested.
Telephone
There is a phone with an honesty box in the cottage.
Arrival and Departure
Thorough cleaning for comfort takes time - please arrive
after 3.00pm and to depart by 10.00am. Please leave the
cottage clean and tidy.
Provisions
If you require provisions to be purchased on your behalf,
please send a list with your final payment. Goods will
be charged at cost. If you require a significant amount
of goods, please send additional payment to cover the
cost, the balance plus £5 for the service will
be due on arrival. There is no guarantee that all the
goods will be available locally, however, we endeavour
to find them for you.
Special requests
Please do not hesitate to contact us prior to your holiday
with any special requests. We have lived in the area
for over 10 years and have many useful local contacts.

The Cottage
There are three Bathrooms, two
with bath/shower and one with shower only.
Ground floor twin bedroom with accessible bathroom with walk in shower, WC and basin.
A large modern fully fitted kitchen/dinning room with washing machine.
A 21ft long lounge with a real fire. Oil central heating.
First floor: 2 x family room king size double and single 1 x twin room 2 bathrooms, one with whirlpool bath.
Outside
there is a large enclosed garden with patio furniture
and ample off road parking
for several cars.

Can be arranged if sufficient
prior notice is given. Please indicate if you are
likely to need this service on your booking form.
Either the proprietor or a local
NNEB qualified person are available.
High chair available on request
and stair gate can be fitted if needed.

Special
needs
Special needs have been catered
for and the property has been developed taking
into account the needs of wheelchair users to National
Accessibility Standard, Category Two.
These adaptations
should not affect able bodied visitors but should
enable wheelchair users can enjoy their holiday. |

Pets
Well mannered pets are welcome.
The garden is enclosed and the area is quite welcoming
pets, dogs are allowed on many beaches and open country
is wonderful for dogs, however, remember you are
in sheep country. We expect guests who bring their
dogs to keep them off all the furniture.
Please remember
non dog lovers also stay in the cottage. |
Smoking
Although we prefer visitors
not to smoke, smoking is allowed in the cottage,
but not in the bedrooms.
